  • What is the Audacity school of entrepreneurship?

    The Audacity program offers a unique experience for young to discover entrepreneurship, become familiar with key sectors of the economy and develop their audacity, tenacity and curiosity.

    Every morning, the kids visit companies and discover different entrepreneurial professions, such as chocolatier, boat manufacturer, clothing designer and 3D animator.

    Description
    The Audacity program offers a unique experience for young to discover entrepreneurship, become familiar with key sectors of the economy and develop their audacity, tenacity and curiosity.

    Every morning, the kids visit companies and discover different entrepreneurial professions, such as chocolatier, boat manufacturer, clothing designer and 3D animator.

    The Audacity program also includes an animation component allowing young to have fun and practice several activities such as climbing, canoeing, swimming and archery.

    The primary objective of the program is to contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial spirit of youth. 

    The program objective
    A: Development of KNOW HOW
    10 blocks from 4 to 8 hours

    • Block 1: Identify a problem (define what is an opportunity);
    • Block 2.: Validate the idea with a target market;
    • Block 3: What is a orguanisation (a company);
    • Block 4: Develop a solution (a product) and its design;
    • Block 5: The marketing and communication strategy;
    • Block 6: The commercial strategy (sales);
    • Block 7: The customer relationship;
    • Block 8: Operations Management;
    • Block 9: The principle of continuous improvement;
    • Block 10: The company and its stakeholders.

    Projects/companies developed by the youth Entrepreneurs
    The company "Gaspille pas ça" (Don't waste food inc). proposes to recycle products that are generally rejected by grocery store standards because they are not nice.  In one day, the youngsters sold 300 pounds of yellow beans from a local farmer.
    The company Unitem inc. offers a mobile app to help people who can no longer stand to spend their time looking for products on store shelves. Thanks to the unitem application, a customer for example will be able to find the path that leads directly to the product he is looking for. The app acts as a googlemap that shows the way to get to the exact location of the product.

    The company Bonappetit inc. offers a mobile app that uses geolocation to find "healthy" restaurants near your location. The app selects the restaurants based on the budget you specified.

    The ICIouLA inc company proposes a solution to geolocate the objects thanks to a chip fixed on the object and a mobile application making it possible to locate it

    Vertasa inc. offers employees who often work sitting and have back problems. It puts at your disposal a tailor-made sports program + Pedometer + exercise ball + adjustable table to make you healthier.
    Testimony
    For 13-year-old Justine Poirier, a young entrepreneur, her experience at Camp Audace allowed her to create Unitem with her team members: "My favorite moments at the camp were the afternoons during which we started our business. I had the chance to develop my leadership, not learn at school, and to refine my teamwork skills. "
